"Dignity" re-release

I don't know if that's true, but many sources reveal, that "Dignity" re-release is canceled. Originnally Hollywood Records wanted to make a disc with all the same songs from "Dignity", but all remixed and add two new songs. First single was supposed to be "Reach Out". But now the plans changed. Probably "Reach Out" will be still released, but not as part of "Dignity" re-release. Hilary wants to make a new album, will all new songs and sound, which will be realeased in late 2008. First single from it still will be "Reach Out"

Haylie Duff Approves of Hilary Duff Dating Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff and Haylie Duff are êóôääí close. So you know it’s a big deal for Hilary’s hockey player boyfriend, Mike Comrie, to have officially passed the all-important Haylie test.
“I think he’s great and so special. I love him. He’s a really great guy” - said big sister Haylie Duff.
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie - the former collegiate All-American and 27-year-old forward for the New York Islanders - have been dating since the summer. That’s not too long, but Mike Comrie is already known for big displays of devotion.
In September, Mike Comrie “surprised” Hilary Duff with a $100,000 Mercedes in honor of the singer and actress’ 20th birthday.
“He’s good to her,” Haylie Duff said. “That’s all I care about.”

1. Hilary will be recording the last two songs in which she'll choose for the rerelease on the week of December 17.
2. Two of the previously untitled tracks that Hilary recorded are titled "I Will" & "Not Another Chance." Both will not make the cut for the rerelease.
3. "I Will" was given to Vanessa Hudgens to record for her new album.
4. At least two singles are planned for it. With the possibility of an international single as well. (That means not for the US)
5. A press release will come out in early January, confirming details for the rerelease.

Bad news about "War Inc"

It won't be premiered on Sundance 2008 festival. On list of selected films is up on Sundance Film Festival site...no mention of this movie. So the date for the movie is July 10, 2008 for now.
The reason is probably because it's not finished. As John Cusack said in recent Empire Magazine "I'm currently cutting this movie called War Inc"

1. Guessing from the lyrical content of the songs, they are not from her cd. except possibly one.
2. Marisa Tomei plays a journalist who is very anti-war, anti-Americanization of other countries etc. who is basically investigating and writing scathing articles- whilst also a potential love interest of John Cusack (Hauser). Joan Cusack plays a woman who is undercover as the assistant to John Cusack who is a hitman undercover as the coordinator of all the events (that Tomei is covering) including the wedding of Yonika Babyyeah (yes it is Baby+Yeah, imdb made a mistake), played by Hilary Duff.
This sounds kinda confusing. But basically this is a political satire with a fundamental message of anti-War, anti-Bush etc. The actual plot is a professional hitman (Cusack) who is assigned to assasinate person X while undercover as afore-mentioned coordinator. It's set "sometime in the future... kinda" where America has basically invaded and conquered all, or at least the middle east and everything is being Americanized under one main leader who keeps his identity a mystery.
3. Hilary dances a little bit.
4. Hilary has a large dramatic role in the film, she's one of the main characters - Yonika Babyyeah, a Middle Eastern popstar who is set to get married. Surprisingly she did a really great job, I definitely have more respect for her as an actress now.

Hilary Duff: 'Definitely Not Ready' to Marry

While her ex Joel Madden preps for a new baby with Nicole Richie, singer Hilary Duff is delaying her own plans to start a family.
"I'm definitely not ready to get married," Duff, 20, tells Cosmopolitan in its January issue. "I think a reason that people in this business get married young is that they feel like everything comes to them sooner in life. It's normal to be like, 'Okay, what's next?' "
Having famously dated Good Charlotte musician Madden for 18 months – before they broke up in November 2006 – Duff is currently dating NHL player Mike Comrie.
On the heels of this week's Jennifer Love Hewitt controversy about body image, Duff said that, as a scrutinized starlet, she has fretted about her weight.
"You lose some happiness when that's all you think about," Duff says. "There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight, but I'm better not stressing about my body all the time."
She adds, "It's not attractive when girls get super-skinny. Guys don't like it. Girls don't like you as much."
Next year, Duff will be tackling her first serious movie role, in War, Inc., costarring John Cusack. This year she spent promoting her latest CD, Dignity, which hit stores in April.

Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I got to spend it with my family and a few close friends! It was a perfect relaxing day. I ate so much though, had to take a nap! I was home for about three days (not long enough!). Now I am in Vancouver shooting another movie (Safety Glass). I've been away from home for a few months, which is tough but I was touring for so long, it's nice to be on movie sets working with really talented people. Especially when they are projects you really love. I can't wait for all of you to see these movies. They've been really unique characters, so it's been fun! Safety Glass takes place in the 80's and the hairstyles and wardrobe are out of control!! Hehe! When we're filming outside we get funny looks from people watching the shoot! It's pretty funny!
In other news.... Over Thanksgiving my cat Gloomy got sick (That was the only thing about my three days home that wasn't fun!). He had to have surgery . He's doing just fine now and should be coming home in three days! He's been a little trooper! My sister has been home and she said all the puppies and "Mouse Cookie" (my other kitty) really miss him, I'm sure they will be happy when he comes home! Other than that Haylie is coming to see me tomorrow! We're having a sister weekend since I have both days off! I am on my way home from work now in the WORST traffic ever!!! Ahh! Not happy about this at all!!! Well, when I have more news I will write another blog! Hope all is well with everyone and don't forget to keep writing me!
